QA Engineer (Automation + AI-Driven Quality Engineering)

Role Overview

We are looking for a modern QA Engineer who goes beyond traditional manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks and exposure to AI-driven tools (such as OpenClaw or similar AI testing/agent frameworks) to accelerate test creation, bug detection, and release confidence.

This role requires someone who understands that QA is not just testing — it is about engineering quality into the product lifecycle using automation, AI, and smart workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Automation & Framework Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Web / Mobile / API).

• Improve test stability, reduce flaky tests, and optimize execution time.

• Implement parallel execution and CI-integrated test pipelines.

2️⃣ AI-Driven Testing & Process Acceleration

• Use AI tools (e.g., OpenClaw or similar agent-based tools) to:

• Auto-generate test cases from requirements

• Generate automation scripts

• Perform exploratory testing using AI agents

• Analyze logs and detect patterns in failures

• Leverage LLMs to:

• Convert PRDs into structured test scenarios

• Auto-generate edge case matrices

• Create regression impact analysis

• Build workflows to reduce manual QA effort using AI.

3️⃣ Quality Engineering in Agile

• Participate in sprint planning and define test strategy per feature.

• Collaborate with developers to shift quality left.

• Ensure test coverage visibility before release.

• Perform root cause analysis on production bugs.

4️⃣ CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

• Maintain quality gates before deployment.

• Generate automated reports and dashboards.

5️⃣ Strategic QA Thinking

• Identify areas where automation or AI can reduce cycle time.

• Propose process improvements.

• Own release-level quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience in QA with strong Automation focus.

• Hands-on with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium. etc

• API testing experience (Postman / RestAssured).

• CI/CD integration experience.

• Good understanding of test strategy and coverage planning.

AI & Modern QA (MANDATORY DIFFERENTIATOR)

Candidate must demonstrate at least one of the following:

• Used AI tools (OpenClaw or similar) for testing.

• Used LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for:

• Generating test cases

• Creating automation scripts

• Log analysis

• Edge case identification

• Built internal QA productivity workflows using AI.

• Experience with self-healing test automation.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted exploratory testing.
