About the role

We are looking for an experienced React.js Team Lead to lead our frontend engineering efforts and build scalable, high-performance web applications.

In this role, you'll lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, drive frontend architecture and technical decisions, and work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.

You'll be responsible for ensuring engineering best practices, code quality, application performance, and timely delivery while also contributing hands-on to the development of our frontend applications.

What You'll Do:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of React.js developers.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.
Drive frontend architecture, technical decisions, and development standards.
Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable React components.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver business requirements.
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and production issues.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and project execution.
Drive continuous improvements in frontend development processes and practices.
Ensure applications follow appropriate security, accessibility, and performance standards.

What we are looking for

Required Skills & Qualification:

5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong hands-on experience in React.js.
At least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring frontend development teams.
Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong understanding of component-driven architecture and frontend design patterns.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and frontend-backend integrations.
Strong understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and scalable application development.

Good To have:

Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Experience with frontend performance monitoring and optimization.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience working in SaaS or product-based companies.
Understanding of frontend security and accessibility best practices.
